End mills are the perfect cutting tools for milling applications, with styles and sizes to fit any job. While the most common type of end mill is the two flute, designed to cut in a spiraling pattern. This method of cutting allows for improved efficiency and a much sleek outcome.

The width of the end mill corresponds directly to the breadth of material it is meant to sever. For example, a 1/8" end mill will effectively cut material with a depth of 1/8".

An array of styles of end mills can be obtained. These include the square end mills, ball end mills, and spiral end mills. Utilizing square end mills allows for a direct cutting of material. Material is shaped in a curved line with ball end mills. Whereas,  dewalt drill chuck  are specifically created to cut material in a spiral configuration.

End mills can be found in a plethora of coatings, with titanium nitride and diamond being among the most commonly seen. A hard coating, titanium nitride is geared to enhance the longevity of the end mill, while diamond works to raise its cutting speed.

End mills are utilized to perform various milling processes, from the machining of aluminum to the fabrication of stainless steel and plastics. Notably, these tools are regularly employed in the penetration of aluminum, as well as brass and plastic.
